About
SmartUniversity is a practical course for bachelor students of computer science and electrical engineering organized by the Internet Technologies Research Group (iNET RG) at the Hamburg University of Applied Sciences (HAW). The course is scheduled for the winter semester 2015/16.
In this course students will work in small teams on innovative projects using technologies from the Internet of Things (IoT) to enable a Smart University. The software and hardware development is based on RIOT, the friendly OS for the IoT.
In the following we provide further information on the designated schedule and the student projects themselves. Even more information can be found on GitHub @smartuni.

Help and Examples
We provide some basic examples to help start developing your own IoT projects using the RIOT-OS. These examples should also serve as a template (or guide line) on how to structure source code and documentation of your projects. Take a look into the wiki of the examples repository for further details.
